Art - I have a similar situation whenever I hear "This grid doesn't need a filter, they will never have that many entries to need one"

Not sure why this happened, but this was what I was greeted with when coming in to work today:

Or they are celebrating that the British Ambassador to the US called a spade a spade...

I've yet to interact with anyone else from my department (both my subordinates have the day off today and my boss has yet to report to work so I believe he may be out also) but I think it has something to do with all the shite I've been trying to handle at home and balancing that with my work life. I am hoping this is a sign of support, rather than an indication that they are about to fire me and just want me happy when they do it...

I do not ever want to return to that country ever again unless I am in a box that is smaller than I am tall...

I didn't have you pegged for a masochistic contortionist, but if squeezing yourself into a 4' crate for intercontinental travel is your thing, who am I to judge?

An evening of moderate drinking really helped to reset the bent-out-of-shape 'tude from the last four days. Mildly hung over, dehydrated, and back on the level.

Plus my apps are *FINALLY* working.

I have an Amazon assessment to deal with over the weekend. I might hit up the resident expert and see if he may have some insight.

The rest of the weekend will be yard work as I have been going from 5am to 9pm all week and the yard has been getting neglected.

I found out that the goodie basket that was on my desk is for my 1 year anniversary at work, which I forgot about.

I did the SDE assessment back in 2012. I ignored the recommendation for studying before taking it. If you are comfortable with data structures and algorithms, as well as know how to work out complexity, you should be good. My feeling at that time was that that the assessment was meant to weed out self-taught "developers" who didn't have a basic CS background.

I'm just trying not to psych myself out before I start. While I don't care, and really never wanted to work there, it is a resume builder and they do several cool projects. So the learning experience would be great in itself.
