but the actuial flar part is like hidden
im talking of like originating it off the picture then having the flaring appear on it, you know, the stream of the lense flare?

hey, no need to hijack my thread.... just make a thread for your own footer. and my question still hasn't been answered yet. i downloaded the font for the footer from the downloades page, but how can i use it in Photoshop? just remember that i'm a n00b at graphics.

It has almost nothing to do with graphics, how you install the font... but I can still help
.
Just unzip the file to your windows/fonts directory and the open it... the directory and then you should be able to use it as any font in Photoshop. I know that the font you used on the first image isn't standard so I wonder how you installed that one?

I asume someone else did it for em. As for the footer: looks ok. But that flar' is really 'not done'

thanks for the help man.. it works good. that font that i used in my original footer (not the one i have now), is Overexposed. i didn't have to install it or anything, i just found it in Photoshop.

let me just help out your terminology michael..
all the fonts you ever use on your comp are in the windows/fonts/
folder and every program uses the fonts in that folder.
so Overexposed probably came w/ photoshop or another program you have

ok, i redid my footer, AGAIN. here it is (and those are car logos, incase u didn't know =P)
