Combining existing HTML files with Django project.

Posted 13 June 2019 - 12:24 PM

I working on a website development project, and first developed a number of HTML/CSS/Javascript files that will make
the front end seen by user. I also wanted to do a comments section, feedback form and contact form; so decided to
use Django for this. Thing is Django uses html templates, so do I have to extract and remake code from already existing files into Django templates, or can I have Django working with only 3 above pages (comments etc).

If I can have the static html + 3 Django pages, is it possible for static pages to have links which when clicked will send requests containing Django view mapped urls? and can Django pages have links to static pages? how could this work?

Thanks.
