How to implement a toolbar dropdown menu

Posted 16 July 2019 - 12:25 PM

Hi

I would like to implement a toolbar dropdown menu such as in standard windows applications. I am using WPF with MVVM.

For example, I would like a FILE item in the toolbar on top lefthand side of window, so that when clicked a dropdown menu appears with options such as open new project, save project, print, etc.

I find quite a few examples Googling this but get quite confused as to which is the best and simplest to use. I coul;d not find exactly what I am looking for. I do not need any icons.

Any pointers/tips is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you looked at WPF's menu? Doesn't sound like you need a third party bit to do it.

Looking at the menu control it appears to be the solution I was looking for. Thanks.
