Yeah there is definitely a hack going on and it is sending a virus package through the browser. This is while using the latest chrome, two different computers, logged in and logged out and seems to be random. So my guess it is some kind of code behind the scenes triggering. It needs to get resolved soon otherwise I can't keep putting computers at risk.

:(

What is with the track.amishbrand.com malware on this site? I get a warning every time I come to the site now. Been like this for at least a week.

I haven't seen that particular malware, but yeah there is shady stuff going on recently and been discussed in the following forum...

https://www.dreaminc...te/page__st__15

I haven't seen anything recent myself, but then again we suspect it is coming in through an advertiser's ads and I don't see as many ads being a DIC++ member. Any additional info you can provide on that other forum would certainly help. Not sure where the webmaster skyhawk is these days. I have been told he was being made aware of the problem but not sure how far that has gotten.

Skyhawk is still looking into it, but asked me if anyone else was able to narrow down the cause. I've been at a loss, and he's stumped at the minute.

Every time I visit this website (i.e. https://www.dreaminc...t/forums/index), my ESET anti-virus' warning window pops up and tells me that the following website (which it clearly deems as dangerous) has been blocked: https://track.amishbrand.com (URL: 81.4.122.193). This happens repeatedly (i.e. new warning windows, with the same information continue to pop up) as I click on different forums, subforums, threads, etc. on this website.

Word back from skyhawk - the hunt is narrowing down, and this helped put him on the right path.

You know, this isn't the first time we have seen harmful exploits come through the ad system. Perhaps Skyhawk needs to take a bigger picture look at the types of advertisers that are being allowed through the system. I can only imagine that he personally didn't approve of amishbrand.com and that they came in through some ad campaign system he is part of.

Just a note of feedback.

Hey DIC team, Symantec Blue Coat has flagged DIC and blocked access to it for work computers due to the ad network track.amishbrand.com. Symantec will not unblock access until the site is not serving ads from this network, how can we work with you guys to get this unblocked as soon as possible?
