Video color grading... I have spent the last weekend and every night this week so far working on it, learning more about it, and restarting the same project to try new things... good lord there is a lot to do. In other news, you can really create some interesting and unique looks from the same starting position; and it is also nice to see that you can really improve the video look with color grading (even when just using 3x $10 lights to light the subject (me) with the world's jankiest diffusion method (literally facing the lights at the walls/ ceiling and letting it bounce before finding me).

Well that was odd. Had a weird hostage/NCIS/work-place dream and I was wearing a tshirt that was a colored like the Save Ferris 'It Means Everything' CD cover, except the words were 'Some Molly Annes', and now I feel like I missed out making a punk/ska band with a hilarious name.

This weekend was alright. Got my nails done, which they're already chipped, and she didn't trim down so they're almost too long but I'll make do. Bought myself a 72 pack of Prismacolor Premier colored pencils since my old 24 pack is quite literally all busted up despite being barely used. Also got some "metallic" markers, water based, where only like 3 had a small hint of shininess to them, and a few were dried up and/or busted. Sunday we had DnD and I was going nuts trying to prep only for us not to even go there. Spent the whole time traveling and fighting a revenant. Nice filler episode, and hinted at a future area/quest for them. Yesterday I spent trying to clean out the living room, and tried to have dinner cooked for my roommate since he was driving 6+ hrs home, and he only ate a little. Oh well, I tried. I mean, it was alright, but meh. Needs more msg.

Apparently I caused a major issue that got escalated super high a few months ago, and am only just finding out about it when we had a whole meeting about it with the whole team. He said he wasn't blaming anyone, then called me out by name like 2 times.

Well that's a doozie. High priority critical bug ticket came in saying X app is broken and won't accept new data entry.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand it's because someone was trying to enter in September 31st, 2021. They gave a bit of pushback that it was a valid date. Screenshotting the calendar helped quash that.

Apparently IT changed my Chrome settings w/o telling me, causing me to lose where I was with session. I have 2 windows with like 20 tabs open relevant to all my projects at all times, and I'm not gonna remember what all those links were. Took forever to find that info. It also logged me out of everything. Furious. Absolutely furious already this morning.

Two windows with twenty tabs each? Geeze. When it looks to be getting like that I typically grab the toolbar and drag a short cut to the work number folder. Then again our joint likes to surprise force reboot on updates so I live in instability night to night.
