Trying to make sense of an epic that product wants delivered by end of month... unfortunately, the PM decided to be helpful and wrote a bunch of garbage tickets, and as I dig into it I realize that nothing in this has been thought through at all.

Depends on the developer, doesn't it? For some of them I find my experience with Skinner-style operant conditioning is pretty effective.

The word of the day is "janky." As in "this fucking server is so goddamn janky." The new data center has retina scanners though, so I feel like a secret agent when I have to go there. So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
