Use this application to launch videos at the right time and stop them in the same manner, avoiding the extra content you won't concentrate on anyway
Masteralgo VLC Jumper Any Video is an interesting take on simplifying the viewing of videos. What it aims to do is use VLC to create and save points in some of your favorite videos, allowing these to begin at a specified time, right before that scene you love so much. There's not much else happening with this program. Still, if you'd like to oversimplify your life, this could be your ticket.
A tad too simplistic
While there wouldn't have been too many expectations, to begin with, in terms of looks, the program seems a bit too basic. In fact, the interface is made out of some specific areas, a couple of labels, two or three buttons. That's it. These elements have been placed disproportionally within the main window, so extra work would be advised on looks. In terms of functionality, the app does exactly what is advertised.
Use the program confidently
The user can add a link from some online stream. Then, one must add it as a scene. The VLC Path button can be used to enforce the selected start and stop times. You can add some sort of delay if there are inconsistencies between the time read by the app and the one posted online during the stream. You can also play your scenes directly from the app, which will, in turn, deploy the VLC app to reproduce your selected video.
Masteralgo VLC Jumper Any Video doesn't really manage to impress that much at first sight. This is mainly due to the fact that it doesn't come forward to present the user with a nice package. The app does function as expected, and for those looking to satisfy their need for launching videos at the right time, it will work fine. Still, there seems to be a long road ahead before VLC Jumper Any Video can become a mainstream or at least near mainstream app.
