QEMU doesn't support DVDs, at least not on Macs.

QEMU supports any kind of block device last time I checked. Are you using the Qemu Launcher program to set it up? :)

No, I was just running Q.app I thought it was weird that they wouldn't support dvds, but i never looked into it.
