keep working on it.
i suggest doing some research, and throwing away your first (at least) 20 tries.
try searching "logo" and/or "design" in del.icio.us or your favorite social bookmarking site (i don't recommend google).
look hundreds of logo designs by established professional logo designers. you'll get the feel for it. and keep posting here for comments and crits.

quick critique, don't take it as a negative just something to build on .
the text is somewhat readable, yes, but doesn't pop out and is instantly known what its saying, i have to make an effort to read it.
that could be for a couple of reasons, either it doesn't pop off the bground enough or the arch is too intense.
secondly, i don't understand what the logo is. its a dot with tape across the top and bottom to me. i have no idea what the middle part is.
just a quick reaction. keep working though.

It's supposed to be a Dot with Horns on it. I can make it bigger, I'm using that one on a button. I'll try to enlarge it a bit. I'll also add a drop shadow to the letters and make em pop out.
