At least get a GeForce3. or a low-end GeForce4.

Not to interrupt the same old video card debate (yes I have an ATI 8500...so what?), but why anyone would buy a system over the internet is beyond me. Here in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area we have over a dozen computer shops which can build the same system for the same price. My favorite is PC Magic. AND they can give discounts or trade- ins when it comes time to upgrade next week. I bought my system locally piece by piece and have had great service and prices that match those of internet "deals" when you add for shipping. These are the same shops that people drive past when Gateway or Dell or Best Buy decides they want to keep your machine for 3 months to diagnose a bad hard drive. When MY hard drive goes bad, they give me one to use while mine is being checked. I just don't get it. These small business owners are your neighbors and fellow state and city taxpayers. Unless I lived in the middle of nowhere in Idaho or something, I'll buy local everytime...even if it costs a little more. It's worth an extra $5.00 for a memory module to know the guy who sells it to me on a first name basis.

Anyways, that's my $0.02

Its better than what I have now... Compaq out of the box, lowend POS, the only game I can play is Roller Coaster Tycoon.
