Picked this up off of MacSlash earlier today. An absolutely amazing mod to an Apple G4 Power Mac. The mod includes a killer built in LCD screen, internal neon lighting, backlit keyboard, and front panel USB. He has include a load of in-process pics and a movie. The project is dubbed Project: BlueIce G4 (Rev. 2). Be warned, the page is a bit slow loading. Combined hits from posts like this on other boards and MacSlash and the dumping ASP work, make for a painful load time... Well worth it though.

[rant]Now can we get some one to smack this guy upside the head for doing a great job on a killer Apple machine, then using ASP to display it on the web.[/rant]

(To save the pain of loading this page and to give just a taste of what you'll see, I have saved a few of the completed pictures and will attach them to the thread. I still strongly suggest the guy's site though. Some really nice [hardware] work.)

Do tinted windows on your car make it go faster? Didnt think so.

unless i was a movie star or some celebrity, getting tinted windows is just bad
1) limited view
2) too tinted = illegal
3) the tint can bubble, making the car look very bad
4) the tint actuially makes the window stronger (not shatter) so if your car is burning and your doors wont open, the tint may actuially kill you

its proven! neons, do make your computer faster! you should see the honies that flock to my box while everyone else is stuck in beige. paint it, cut it & light it up!

plus, its fun & you neer know when someone might ask you to build a box like yours (for $$$). could be a new art/industry....

thats sweet dude, is that electrical cord in the keyboard? if so, do you like have a wire running from ur keyboard to ur case or something? i wanna know cuz i'm consittering putting the wire in my keyboard as well.
