Top view. That usb port on the top is for the bg micro vfd I'm wanting to get.

Plugged it in and everything works.

its cool if you like watching your fan spin
if i want to see in my comp i'll just take the sides of the case and the front off
which would take me all of 3 minutes
then i would be able to look in and see all the green and wires
but if looking at computer parts excites you enough to build a clear case, then go ahead! waste your money and resources

your allowed to have fun with your computer. you take all the raw computing power you can possibly get and put it into a fun case. thats the only way to become ubergeek.

Ben you talk as though there's some unwritten law about how a computer-lover is supposed to behave, act, think.... as far as I know, that's not the case. What's wrong with having fun with something you enjoy? Who of us is into computers because of raw computing power? Sure, that's a benefit, but that's not why we love them. We love them because they allow us to create things, express and amuse ourselves, and sometimes make some money on the side (which is always a bonus).

Lighten up. Enjoy life. :)

there IS an unwritten law about it
im not saying dont enjoy your computer
im saying be economically, financially and SENSIBLY sound about doing it
fun can be had in other ways IE getting drunk and jumping off cliffs
my computer case is a plain case, plain colour with a little maple-leaf sticker on it, and wow, im really happy with it, it has these cool little air-vent holes on the side of it they are totally rad and out of this world
im saying that people building clear plastic cases and lighted cases is an obvious waste of money and a cheep (and cheap) thrill.
ok your case looks cool, wow, you may think wow its cool for like the first 4 days but after that its like dude its just a case no big deal
i've made my point

you know ben, if you don't have anything CONSTRUCTIVE to say, dont say it. this forum was merged with the computer mods forum and therefore it goes in here. we've made space for it, and are convinced it belongs in here. if you have anything to say about us allowing case mods, it belongs in the site feedback. as for this thread, i would very much appreciate it if it turned back into a conversation about the great case that was posted, and not about the goods and bads of case mods. all off topic posts will be deleted in time. thank you.

Ben, your saying dont spend money on things you enjoy.

Obviouslly, it brings enjoyment, or the thought of success building somthing like that.

Your saying that there is no point in somtimes doing those little extra things to be happier, or have fun.

Have you ever collected somthing? Probablly.

Collections arnt very financially good, unless of course they are old or what not. But you get my point. If you lived your life worrying about small things 'financially' you wouldnt enjoy it.
