You mean we could have done other things than coding in our freetime?!?! Damn it! Why am I the last one to know these things! If I had been told this earlier I would have gone out drinking to all hours of the night, trying to fit in with friends, do the careless thing from time to time and probably derailed any chance at a great career.

Now I am stuck as a programmer doing kick ass stuff, making kick ass wages in a nice high rise condo. &#*$ this man. I am going to start being a cool person right now!

Oh wait a minute, I see a flaw in this one person's function. Maybe I will be a rebel later after I work out their problem.

LOL...in high school I was a dope smoking beer swilling long haired piece of trash, in university I was a pool playing class missing liquor quaffing egomaniac.

I turned that into a career as a highly regarded programmer and more.

In University, first year I spent my free time doing work, playing videogames, drinking, and coding crappy java games.
Two years ago I joined and became later co-chair of the science student computer labs. This gives me fun little projects in Java and PHP, and taught me to be a Linux and Windows server admin. It also makes me have to teacher people how to put paper in a printer...People are weird.
The rest of my free time is spent playing DDR and COD4 or browsing DIC.

Seriously, my firefox permatab of DIC is deadly to my freetime at home.
