my name is brandon, im 24 years old.

i used to program between the ages of 15-18 and even started college to become a software engineer. unfortunatly i skipped all my core classes like western civ cause i was too busy partying late at night and i failed them all. i did make a 98 on my basic class (only programming class i've ever taken).

after that i decided to move back to my home town and work for my father. i spent the next 6 years working for him and playing video games, gave up programming completly (i used visual c++4.0).

a couple weeks ago i decided that learning a programming language (c# is the one i've chosen) would be more beneficial for me than playing world of warcraft for 40 hours a week and here i am.

i have a few programming books, c# 2008 step by step and head first c# but i tend to read a few chapters and then go out exploring on my own trying to write a few apps and that is how i ended up here. the listview has had me banging my head on the keyboard for about a week now so i decided to quit googling it and find a good place to ask for help and you all seemed like the best people to ask.
