I wanted to create a system backup disk and wasnt sure how it was done i own an acer laptop and acer provided eRECOVERY which creats a backup of your system anyway.. its says insert 4 CD's or one DVD disk .. i pu tin my DVD disk and it repeated the question again ... 4 cds etc..

are there any other ways to back it up? I have googled it but none i found where what i needed

OS: Windows XP Home edition

Well if you are just looking to backup files like programs and word docs and such, u can use CDBurnerXP. Contrary to th name, it burns CDs and DVDs and does a nice job. It is free and I really like it. It is simple to use and IMO is better then roxio and other such things that cost $$

I've actually used the Acer eRestore and it worked alright for me, I used a DVD-R.
