I asked this question because my daughter and I watched a movie the other night, and it got me remembering one day waaaaaay back when...
We were (where else) in Cambodia, and I could have sworn I saw a man in the wrong uniform running across a field toward a shack. I did a quick weapon check and when I looked back up,I saw the door to the shack close... He was no where to be seen, and it was the only place he could have gone. I called on the radio for a few of the boys to come up. We went through the procedures calling him out and so on... finally, I just opened up and peppered the shack. It looked like Bonnie and Clydes car when the feds were finished. I must have put atleast 600 rounds in it.
We opened the door... nothing. No trap doors, no secret doors or panels he could have slipped out of, nothing...
I took a lot of ribbing over that... not to mention having to explain to the Capt., why I hated the shack so much that I felt the need to waste all that ammo. I couldn't even go to the latrine, without some dumb ass yelling, "Look out, I just saw someone go in there"... or "Gonna shoot it up today Sarge, or just shit it up?" I wondered for a long time whether or not if I was loosing it, or if I actually could have seen something....
shrug...

Your story sounds very familiar. I think I have heard about something like you describe, but can't remember where or when.
I think you may have seen something. There are lots of "unexplained" things that happen. I also believe in angels, so it may have been an angel. Though why an angel would have acted that way, I don't know. Maybe you were supposed to go to the shack for some reason.
Either that or you're nuts. Or we both are. lol.

One of my close friends told me about this time he & a friend were at Gettysburg. They were watching one of the civil war re-enactments. But off in the distance they saw a soldier whom wasn't with the others, he was buy himself. Out of nowhere, he got shot, legs flew up in the air, & slammed on his back. A bit more realistic than the others. Since they both had seen it, they didn't say anything to one another. Since the man didn't get back up from the tall grass, they thought they'd go over & check it out.
He wasn't there!
My friend says the strangest part is, they BOTH saw it.
