Yeh, I know that... but when you login you have the choice to be anonymous... meaning you don't show up on the members online list... if you look at the bottom of the main forums page it has like "Members Online" "Guests Online" "Anonymous Users"

The 'phantom member' I believe has checked the Make me anonymous box thingy when they login which is messing with the members online display on the homepage and such.
