Anyways, I wake up this morning to turn on my screen and see this right smack in the middle:

And it pissed me off, cause this is like, the second or third time it's happened...

I don't know what information to give...
That address WAS my IP...(thank god for dynamic).
Ummm, I'm running WinXP if you couldn't tell.
I use Trillian and every service. (IRC, ICQ, AIM, MSN, Y!).
Uhhh, I don't believe I had anything else running at the time.
WinXP, Trillian, oh...WinAmp.
And that's about it...
HELP ME PLEASE.

That's a NET SEND

Normally used just within a network, it's harmless, but does mean your computer is open to that sort of thing... get yourself a firewall like Tiny Personal Firewall (that's what I use)

Wow...I've never seen that before, how shameful .
I'm sure it can't be disabled right? IT's in the TCP/IP / Windows Core?

Zone Alarm sucks...it prevented my internet connection from being maintained .
Tiny should work...tell me I just allow and block specific ports, and that's all...PLEASE tell me that's true...

Ya, you could go through the trouble of gettin all that stuff... or just turn off that messager thing.

net stop messenger -turns it off
net start messenger -turns it on

or ya could go into mirc and do this:

/timer0 0 0.00000000001 //run -n net send xx.xx.xxx.xxx flood!
