Windows Vista

Posted 27 May 2008 - 03:21 AM

My windows vista acouple of days ago changed its font from the default windows font to something else, now adobe photoshop wont run and other programmes are crashing out all the time? Any ideas what I could do to fix the problem? All I can think about is system restore or recovery but both I would like as the last resort due to the fact I have installed quite alot of things on there since to problem occured.

I have AVG Free Edition and it comes up with nothing although I haven't as of yet tried running it in safe mode. Will try that hopefully that will get it working.

----Edit----

I have found out that repair your computer is also missing, I think that might be causeing the problem Im going to run a fix on it and report back

Heres the fix.

Format?

I would say that doing a system restore would work, but if its a last resort, i guess not. Is it really all that hard to redownload some programs?

I have kept most of the ones which are hard to get hold of, just I have alot of things installed and dont really want to have to go though that again also setting up the user folder to read from my other HDD was a pain in the ass.
