To answer your questions :

To display your computer onto a laptop LCD, you'll need to run it through some sort of an RCA converter that can feed into the Laptop.

As far as a photo editor, try clicking on start -> run & typing MSPAINT. Others would include, Gimp, Photoshop, or Corel Draw.

you know the about 1 boy 1/25 in blue cord you plug into your pc from monitor.
plug it into your laptop. also it may be a big white hd cord
lol
depends what kinda editing your doing. but it use Microsoft digital image suite.
works amazing. almost as good as photoshop just cheaper.
