I'm watching the live coverage of the Obama rally at our Xcel Energy Center, he's slated to announce his victory for democratic candidacy tonight.

The Xcel is packed with 30,000 people, another 20,000 outside on the streets of downtown, it's insane.

This is what I call EPIC FAIL, I wouldn't want neither of them to win the election.

Interesting.
And I stayed away from this topic because I thought I was in the minority around here.

I don't like any of the Presidential candidates this time, but I do think it would be foolish (maybe?) to withdraw from the war at this point.

Having a teenage son does change a mother's mind about war, though. Would you/could you sacrifice your son for it? Selfish me, I could not.

Well i don't think there is a need to sacrifice anyone.. just change the rules of engagement... stop sending troops in to "avoid civilian casualties" that's not worth the soldiers lives. Just bomb them from the air, there is no risk to their lives that way. And you know what, those "civilians" aren't necessary that innocent anyway, the fact that they were unarmed at the moment doesn't mean they weren't helping terrorists, or killing Americans earlier that day. With good intelligence, and air strikes, a lot of lives can be saved.

But yeah i can see where you are coming from. And i think alot of people would agree with you. But it's not the parents choice but soldiers choice to join anyway.

Back to the topic, i hope Barak Hussien Obama (wow how can you even consider someone with that name to be president), will not win for the sake of us all. I mean you took down one Hussien already lol. But honostly, look at his supporters, and he's shadowy connection with some terrorist supporter group. His supporters include one of the biggest idiots in politics: Jimmy Carter, just watch the stuff he says, and compare it to what Obama says. Lets talk to Iran :S, brillant, how come no one thought of that before? oh actually they did, in 1938, but it was Hitler... a bunch of geniuses.. right. Remeber the old saying, "tell me who your friends are, and i will tell you who you are".

It looks like no matter what we pick things will get worse, seems like all I can choose is in what way.
