Suggest Good Mobo's. . .

Posted 09 October 2002 - 10:15 AM

Ok, these have got to fit in a 1U case. . .

I'd like to know a good mobo for a:

Celron 1.3
P4 2 ghz
AMD XP1800
And AMD Duron 1.3 or 1.2

DDR on the P4 And XP, SD on the others.

If you could give an El Cheapo and a Good option for each, that would rock.

If they sell it at NewEgg.com you can just link there if that's easier.

Angled ram slots are always a plus.
On board graphics are good, lan is ok, Hardware RAID and SCSI for the P4 And AMD are good too.

Also, anyone that buys/uses 1U's, If the OS is preinstalled would you want a CD-Rom?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Im running a P4 2.4 on an Asus P4S533.
Great OCer. GOt mine @ Googlegear.com for 108... think theyre down to 106.
It runs on the SiS645DX chipset. IMHO VIA takes it in the poopchute.

Most 1U cases will take an ATX and smaller mobo.

Uh, You can't? How could you not? I could sell you a Dual P4 w/drives for less than that.

I just bought 2 36 gb IBM SCSI 160 15krpm's for $236 the other day. So, with scsi's or 8mb buffer 80 gigers I could beat that.

[edit]$236 total, not each. ;)[/edit]
