FF7 was wonderful story line. One of the best out there and who didnt shed a tear when aries died. And everyone was looking for some kinda way to bring her back. and ff7 had seth who cant be beat when it comes to villianz. But then again ff9 was a great game also.

Granted, it's emotional when Aeris dies, but what about FF8?

Rinoa is drifting in space, with no air left... and Squall goes to save her?

I need to play FF8 again...

You didn't get that version? It was the ultra-mega-hyper-extended cut-gold disc-diamond case edition and was only like $80 when it first came out.

the FF8 storyline is very good too, but somehow the presentation wasn't as good as FF7 was in my opinion. but different people have different opinion

Well, I agree that FF7 is overrated. I didn't think it was that great storyline-wise. I found something very funny. My friend named his Aeris character "BULLSEYE", only for the timing of Sephiroth killing her, Cloud would shout..."BULLSEYE!"...it was very funny. Not saying I didn't like the game, but I didn't like it to the point of praise it like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

FF8 was good, I did like that game very much. Very nicely balanced in terms of not having a clichee storyline and stuff like that. Plus some kickass music was made by none other than Nobuo Uematsu, the greatest video game composer ever! (8/8...8/8...9/8 << repeated 4 times I think*...*then* 4/4 *start over*) time signature boss music for the win!

FF9 did have a bit of the clichee storyline going on (lowly thief and a princess fall in love with each other after she sees how much he truly cares, etc.). But other than that, it was also a good game.

If FF6 refers to FF3 then yes hands down FF3 is my favorite out of the series.

no it refers to ff6, it was only called ff3 in north america. bit silly really.

FF3 is a story about the warriors of light, check out the DS remake to be educated its worth it

Gotcha that's what I thought, I know they had a different numbering system for FF games in North America opposed to Japan. In that case I stand by my answer, sure it didn't have the best graphics etc, but it made up for it ten fold in story line. To be fair however I never really gave 7 too much of a chance. I need to go back and replay it.

Well when you're writing things on the board as punishment, usually you don't separate it all out on new lines.
