Hi guys. I have a problem with my flash disk. this morning i copied files to the flash with no issues, the problem started after i created a label for the flash in windows. At work we use a usb flash disk hub and withought an internal name label recognizing my flash can be hectic. i think windows might have made the flash read only in linux.
Which commands can i use to make it read/write coz i dont want to format it(which would make the flash lose the label that i created in windows.).

What filesystem is it formatted with?
If it's NTFS (I'm not sure if Windows lets you do that, journaling filesystems + flash media = bad), chances are your Linux distro just doesn't have NTFS write capability (it's in most recent kernels, but not all distros ship with it).
Also, if you're mounting it as root on Linux, normal users won't be able to access it. Make sure you supply the "user" option when mounting a flash device.
