Setting up OCI8 in aix

Posted 26 June 2008 - 02:21 AM

Hi all,

I need help in setting up OCI8 in AIX server. There is no ./configure because the server admin installed the php using an installer. Is there any way to trigger this extension without using .configure command?

I did some research on the net but all solution are using ./configure to configure the oci8.

Can i just put oci8.so in the extension folder and modify the php.ini file and restart apache web server?

If this will work, do anyone have the copy of oci8.so file?

oracle instant client and oracle sdk has been installed in the oracle root directory.

I'm still new in AIX environment.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
