alright, hopefully we'll be getting some smart usenet geeks becoming members soon. i decided that i should share this site with everyone who's still holding on to the dying carcass of the usenet community. people never read any posts but their own anymore! i think it has a lot to do with google groups, but who knows.

anyway, i took it upon myself to do a little adver-spamming in a way. i guess i have to call it SPAM even though it was with completely good intentions.

I sent this to alt.html, alt.php, alt.comp.lang.php, and alt.html.critique if you can think of any other groups to send it to, i don't mind you borrowing it and sending it because i know it sucks to type long messages.

one thing i really see about usenet is that most of the users (especially in

section are filling up so quickly and its a pretty tightly knit group of
friends that really love to help each other. best part : most of these guys
have assloads of style and won't let you get away with a site that just
works on every browser and has the correct doctype, etc  they'll rag you
if youre style is lacking... its a cool group of people

also.. there is a good PHP forum..  go ahead and sign up today, and check it
out. it'll take a day or two to get full grasp of the boards and how to use
everything in them, but you can be posting and responding in no time. just
thought i'd pass this little gem on to everyone i could.

well usenet is going the way of the old BBS's there will be a few that try to use it for a valid use but in the end it usually is only pediophiles trading pics

Maybe b/c advertsing is *severely* looked down upon on Usenet. Mentioning it in an on thread msg. is OK, but for stuff like that, you should get flamed! RTF!
