Can you elaborate on what happens when XP "won't load"?

If you can elaborate on the procedure you're following to reinstall your copy of XP that would be great.
Such things like:
Do you get through the whole installation and then when it reboots for the final time it does not load into the OS?
Maybe the installation from CD doesn't start properly?
Could the media that you're using to begin the reinstallation is not 100% perfect and small defects in that media are causing issues.
The more information you give, the more assistance we can render.
