it doesn't particularly have to have the qualities of a bucket with awesome powers or anything but i would like it to look awesome.

there is absolutely no guarantee of payment here, if we don't use it i'm not going to pay you.

but if we do i will pay-pal you ten bucks.

so spend your 4 minutes designing me the sickest bucket in the world.

i'm open to color, and artistic style, however my first idea (which didn't pan out cause i can't draw) was an orange bucket, not 3d but with depth to it, at an angle. liek -45degrees. but take that as you want or do something completely different.

the design of the site will be a black background.

Can't say this looks exactly "awesome" but it's a start. You didn't say whether you wanted it to have a handle.
Here's my version. One with transparent bkgnd, one with black bkgnd.

I might make some more tomorrow, but whether you use my gif or not, I don't want the ten bucks.

Here is another one in case you still need it. I took a pic of an actual bucket in order to get the dimensions right, then I made this from it (on a transparent background) But I can make a different one or make changes to this one if you want:
