Which one has better games for someone who doesn't want to play "on-line"?

Xbox still has that.

IMO - Ninja Gaiden II, Mass Effect.

Hell even games with Multi player such as Gears of War (Still pwns), Halo 3, and COD4 all have kick ass Campaigns.

Sports games are only good offline cause EA servers suck balls and everyone quits when getting there asses kicked halfway through so it better be a close game if you plan to complete.

Like I said my whiole life I hated XBox and everything they stood for, then came the 360 - I did not want nothing to do with it because 1. Microsoft, 2. Microsoft 3. Everyone was on its balls.

I bought a 360 - and have been kicking my own ass ever since, I missed out on a whole year of gaming.

PS3 Does have online games.
And besides, at least it's free...

If you want variety. go for the PS3.
If you want a whole ton of blood FPSes
and Action games, go for the Xbox 360.

wouldnt variety be the system that has like 3 times as many games out? i dont think mgs4, resistance, ratchet and clank, and uncharted is really that varied.

XBox is shite. It's just Microsoft's attempt to get in on the console market, to make even more money. The problem is, they were too cocky, and thought that they could easily smash the other consoles, with years of experience in the console industry. Notice that Microsoft didn't bring out a console until the PS2 release? I wonder why... Maybe because they realised how much money the PSX made?

Before they even came out, I read a big summary (with actual hardware stats, not just "gameplay is better because..." crap) which compared both consoles performance against each other, and the X360 had practically nothing on the PS3.

Ok, great it has better hardware then the xbox, you can buy it for that reason. I'll continue to by concoles based on "Gameplay" because in the end what do you buy a GAME console for? To play GAMES. So i'll stick to the one I feel has the best "Gameplay".

Yeah, but the point of it having better hardware is that it can process things better. Effectively, this is likely to lead to better gameplay~ shorter loading times, better graphics, more activity on the screen to make it more realistic, etc~

I don't hate xbox specifically because it's built by Microsoft, I hate xbox because Microsoft made it because they thought they were better than everyone else, as always.


And I guess I am going to argue on PlayStation's side~ I used to own a PSX, and now I own a PS2, a PS3 and a PSP.

Xbox rules! Yes I was very disappointed with the problems that I encountered when I first got it, the infamous overheating issues! But I have to give Microsoft credit for taking care of the problem in a timely manner. They also provided me with a month of Xbox live free.

The graphics are amazing on Xbox. Yes they are nice on ps3 as well but the price tag on the ps3 is still too high for me. Perhaps if it would drop down to a reasonable price I may consider. But why...for the types of games I play...mainly sports and FPS...the Xbox is my system of choice.

As for when and why Microsoft came out with their console. Who cares! I am just happy they did.

Console sales aren't really determined by hardware, but rather the availability of great software. Software developers tend to migrate to consoles that sell well. There's some irony for ya.

They both have great graphics, but I think you've gotta admit that the PS3 has slightly better graphics than the X360... I think they just look a little more real on the PS:

More than anything, I'd say PS has got the edge in that comparison because of Snake's OctoCamo... just look at the detail!

Ive looked at many XBOX 360 vs PS3 graphics comparisons and just didn't see enough of a difference to warrant buying a PS3, so Ill stick with my 360 until Sony can come up with something to make it worth my while.

DOES NOT have over 3x more games.
It probably don't even have 2x more!
In the video I showed earlier it says:
"The PS3 Has Over 224 games incoming or already out."
...
"The Xbox360 Has 280 Titles in Development or Already Released.
For an Extra Year That's Not Many More Titles."
