if you compare the same game on the 360 and on ps3, u wont see that much of a difference. some look better on the 360, some look better on ps3.
a quick search on wiki, they have a game list. im not going to sit here and count it but i did a copy and paste of all released games for the 360 and the ps3. 10 pages of stuff for the 360, and 6 pages for the ps3. = a lot more games for 360.
and i wont even mention haze or lair
360=better games, more games, better controller, better online
ps3=blu ray, longer lifespan(most likely), mgs4

You said it yourself...
Oh, and the X360 controller sucks.
Online play~ never tried it.
PS3 ~ blu ray, everyone knows it
PS3 ~ less issues than with the X360 (overheating, etc)

10 pages of crap for the 360

Why does the controller suck? Its almost the same layout as the ps3 controller.

The one joy stick on the 360 controller was moved up and to the left and the buttons on the back are alittle different. But pretty damn close to me.

Specifically, its the curve for the handle.
It's too squared off on the X360 controller:

I think this would have been interesting:

That PS3 controller is the most uncomfortable controller Ive ever used, my hands hurt within 14 minutes of using it. The XBOX and XBOX 360 controllers are nearly perfect for my hands.
Well since the 360 has been out longer than the PS3 I'd say Sony copied Microsoft with this one

the offset joysticks, to me, is what makes the 360 controller so much better. i still find people using the dpad on the ps2 and seeing it basically the same thing as the ps3 controller, im sure ps3 users still use the dpad. and why? cause the joysticks are terrible

1. gabe, you can't compare the most graphics intensive ps3 gameagainst an average 360 game.
2. nykc, the ps3 controller is the same as the ps2 practically, so the xbox controller came after it.
however, the 360 controller feels better in your hands, the ps3 dual shock isn't even heavy enough, the regular is worse, too small, and light.
also not a fan of the dual shock triggers, they don't feel like triggers.
its also fantastic for you guys that the ps3 has a powerful cell processor in it... glad you paid a bunch to have folding @ home fold for you. hooray.
i don't understand why this guy is complaining about online price when he paid so much for a console in the first place.
its also not 8 bucks a month, its 49 a year.

I think you confused me with someone else about the controllers Capty99. I never mentioned those.

I can't hear anyone. This is a forum.
And the PS controller is more comfortable IMO, but I've got scrawny hands and bony fingers~
bflosabre:
It's not really using the d-pad to move, particularly with the PS3, they're used as extra buttons to do other things, since there's so much that you can do.
And it's very rare that you'll find someone playing a game with the d-pad, even if it's compatible for movement on said game.

capty, psycho mentioned the controller. That controller has been around since the early days of the PS1 so I think maybe Microsoft copied a bit off of Sony.
But who gives a fuck, am I right? As long as you are having fun, who gives a shitze? Seriously, don't any of have anything better to do then argue on an online forum over which console is better?
