Windows Media Player 9 (Release Candidate)
downloaded this last night... and I'm not ashamed to admit that like it a whole lot. i mean, i ganked Microsoft's operating system anyway, so why not take advantage of their primo boot-camp trained developers. also has a cool taskbar player feature. (image below) I scanned my harddrive for audio with it last night and made it include volume levelling information. took forever, but its cool.. i can listen to mixcds without changing the volume every other track.

name says it all.. gives you a lot of extra control and even a PC Camera operator that FTPs images. it just builds it right into the operating system. my favorite part : the "Open Command Window Here" right click selection. can you say "aaah". cool shit if you're not ashamed to use microsoft products.

The only thing with WMP9 is that you accept that M$ search through your hdd and agrees that they can delete any movies/mp3s that is illegal. It says so in the license agreement (somewhere in the bottom).
