is there a way or program so that i can line up icons on my desktop horizontally instead of always being vertical?

While I do agree with boobs, i'm sure you can do it with the desktopx software in some manner... I'd be highly supprized if you couldn't...

dude. right-click on your desktop, go to Arrange Icons and make sure Auto Arrange is unchecked. then roughly lay out your icons the way you want them and then right-click on your desktop again and select Line Up Icons. that'll do it.

Right Clock on the desktop, go to the effects tab (win 9x?) And then set the desktop color.
