ok , you can go into add remove programs in the control panal , go to something like windows components and remove outlook express by un checking the box , then re installing it by going back in and re checking the box ... WHat version of windows do you have ?

in 98 outlook is removed from Windows Components if you upgrade IE to anything IE4 SP1 or higher. you will have to go to add/remove progies and run a repair on IE by hitting add/remove and choosing repair. if that doesn't work and OE doesn't have its own listing in Add/remove under... say... Microsoft Outlook Express... you'll have to either get another higher version of IE (6SP1) is most current... you will have to uninstall adn reinstall IE. MSOE is an option on the custom install menu.

you have to have another email program before you can open it. do you have Netscape? i think Communicator comes with it, and it's an email editor.

Fortunately at this problem there is a decision-dbx file viewer, tool had been helped me for a some months, also it has free status as far as I can see, utility is reliable and very easy in use,my friends was enjoyed about it,application
will analyze these corresponding files of dbx format and extract messages, if it is possible, program attempts to retrieve messages and save restored emails to your HDD or any other removable media, also with other mailbox recovery solutions and make sure, that this program works better as well.
