Desktop Icons

how come when i set my icons apart all over the desktop and then hit 'line up icons', everytime explorer performs and illegal operation and my desktop refreshes, my icons lines up on the left side, one right under another? i had them scattered, and then they line up. why?

probally because when explore messes up everything messses up.:)

bingo. if you line up icons and explorer takes a dump then you have yourself a fundemental explorer issue. try upgrading IE to a later version if possible.
