Do you live in one of those places that when you ask for un-sweet or sweet tea they just stare at you?

I guess that sweetened ice tea is a very American thing because when I came to Vancouver they almost always had the unsweetened lemon ice tea. I miss the days of ice teas... can't drink it anymore because I have weened myself completely off of caffeine and even a little bit these days gives me headaches. I only do decaf green tea now.

So up here they stare at you when you ask for sweetened ice tea.

Rest of Canada gives you sweetened ice te if not specified.

Funny thing is, I only drink sweetened ice tea, but I would never put sugar in my actual hot tea, of which I drink a few a day.

@ Martyr - if you're in my neck of the woods, drop on by...there's a place downtown that serves iced decaf green tea. Costs a pretty penny (for an iced tea that is), but I'm told by friends it's quite nice!

Yes, my cat likes walking through the most strange places in this house. And sometimes she sleeps on my desk, while I am writing. And I feel she hates me when I pull her down...

My one cat, tigger, loves my new laptop, and will actually close the lid to it when open so he can climb into my lap. Stupid cat had to pick me out, and be more vocal than my older cat, Pooh Bear. Tigger also will plop down on the keys while I'm typing, or lay his head right next to the fan b/c of the warmth. He is way too cute though. Can't help but stop, and pet him for a few before starting to work again. It usually ends in me throwing him out of the room, and closing the door so I can code in peace!!!!

I'm on the original topic Axel....but since I don't drink tea a lot, I can't comment. Also, I have known of sweet tea forever and a half as I am also from the south....I like to call some sweet tea's I've had a diabetics nightmare.
