Bach's Brandenburg Concerto.
These are midi instruments, but it's still awesome to see the counterpoint voices like this. This is seriously super cool.
Edit: I realize I didn't take the position that J.S. Bach was nothing short of brilliant, so let me say that now. The word genius is thrown around so hastily in music, but Bach was just that... a musical genius, whose melodies are unparalleled in any era, and whose composition style is so profound it's hard to assign words to.

Although I agree that Bach was a genius, I must disagree with the rest of the statement. One need look no further than Mozart to see compositions that easily rivaled Bach's.
Of course, music preference is subjective, and the opinions of one may not be the opinion of another.

See here's the thing, friend, I never said that Bach's genius was by any means exclusive. All I said is that people throw about the word very easily. And yea, on a sidenote, Mozart did write some good melodies, but when it came to sustaining longer pieces, he just couldn't do it. Bach was built like a musical triathlete.
