Mandriva 2009 on M$ Virtual PC

Posted 10 October 2008 - 03:22 PM

Okay, I just recently started playing around with Linux OS's. I just downloaded the new Mandriva 2009 and I'm trying to install it on Virtual PC 2007..

I don't get it.. Or I'm dumb.. Probably the latter. Can anybody help me? All I'm getting is just a blank black screen after the Mandriva startup screen..

It's possible that the Virtual PC graphics need to be set correctly or vice-versa the graphics in Mandriva.

Can you change the way Xorg runs? I'm not sure how much control Mandriva gives you during the install... that's why I'm asking.

No, I don't have many options to work with.. I was thinking there was some kind of solution such as how you have to install Fedora using virtual PC.. I'm not too sure though. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be..
