We have the Monday off as well...many people celebrate the Monday as opposed to the Sunday. I generally choose the Sunday because in addition to turkey, stuffing, and a whackload of deserts, I'll also likely consume about a hogshead worth of rye...doing that tomorrow would lead to an unpleasant Tuesday in the office.
For the record, the actual official holiday is the Monday.

we get monday off too, celebrating someone fucking up and landing in the wrong place. we don't half ass our celebrations of mediocrity.
