What's wrong with writing a candidate in? Doesn't anyone vote for Optimus Prime anymore? He'd be my states governor if only my vote counted!

You're better off without him. OP's policies with regards to transfer payments to municipal governments would leave your infrastructure in a shambles.

Yeah, but I haven't had any issues with decepticons for a long time and I credit him for that! He is really strong on foreign policy even though he's not so good on the domestic side. Plus his energon subsidies are really playing out into an overall more energy independant system. We won't have to worry about all those cybertronian energon tariffs!

Well, you seem educated, so I'll leave the decision to you, but a more cynical person might point out that he's using his success in keeping decepticons out of your backyard to mask his domestic policy shortcomings...smoke and mirrors!

And if you think those energon subsidies are anything more than a blatant pandering to the Terrorcons, then you are sadly mistaken sir.

Good day.

Of course, I always forget about the terrorcons! The dinobots had me confused and i was really concerned about invading the predecon territory, but considering the terrorcons puts a whole new light on the situation. Those Fat Cat terrorcons, I hate them so much, always asking for subsidies.

Well played sir, you win this round salesman.

McCain is a Democrat in republican clothes and Obama is a communist in democrat clothes.

Boy do I have to disagree here, McCain is Bush in a different body. McCain is nowhere near a Democrat and since I'm a staunch Democrat I find that statement rather offensive.

Obama a Communist?! You've really got to be kidding me. The current Administration and the current Republican candidate are more Communist than Obama.

I completely agree. McCain will raise taxes, Give out corporate welfare and fuck the country, Obama will do the same but give out welfare welfare. Both candidates will limit freedoms and destroy the constitution, The Democratic party has always been a bit socialist (welfare social security medicare) now dont get me wrong there are some social programs that do some good but private charity is far more efficient in managing money and providing aid then the government.

McCain will destroy the first amendment
Obama the second

Everyone says that there are 2 parties but in actuallity there is only 1 and I dont like where the Republicrat party is taking us.

Where are the JFK's Truman's and Roosivelt's of the Democratic party. Where the hell is the Regan's and Lincoln's of the Republican party?

I could have voted for Edwards, I could have voted for Romney. But No we got a guy that thinks he is Jesus and a senile former POW.

So you have a problem with Social Security and Medicare as well? God forbid when I get old that I would want some of the money I paid into all my life, how selfish of me

McCain would destroy more than that, he picked a running mate that has openly said she would overturn Roe vs Wade if given the chance, yeah that's not taking away personal freedom, I've yet to hear anything like that from Obama/Biden.

I would not vote if Romney or Edwards were the candiate

Repeat after me THORIAN DOES NOT LIKE MCCAIN, AND COULD GIVE A RAT'S ASS ABOUT PALIN

The shades of grey that make up my political thinking is this

I am for the private ownership of guns, All of em if I want to buy a M2 BMG and mount it to the roof of my truck that is my business as long as I don't harm anyone else.

I am all for the freedom to say that Obama is a commie just as I am all for your right to say that I am a nut job.

I am not for forcing anyone to have abortions or to not be able to have them accessible. I personally wouldn't want my significant other to abort my child but I wouldn't want to force her into something that she really didn't want. I would then exercise my freedom to not be with that person anymore.

I have the right to practice my non christian religion, Islamic's have the right to practice theirs as long as we don't infringe on other people.

I feel that I should be able to support my family with out any intervention of the government, However since they take 33% of my pay for their social programs they are the ones providing my disabled son's health care, If I had that 33% of my salary I could pay for his health care my self.

Everyone has the right to fail, From Corporations to Individuals. If you cannot put money back for your retirement then you will be working till you die. I should not be paying money in taxes to a system that would not reimburse my heirs in the event of my death before being able to collect benefits at 65.

If someone wants to sell their body for money that is their own business, as long as it is of their own free will and not under duress. I personally wouldn't

If someone wants to drown out their reality with a narcotic that is their own business as long as they don't hurt anyone else in the process. I personally wouldn't

Basically Ill lay it down like this I wont tell you what to do, so don't tell me what to do. Neither candidate that has a chance of winning believe in what I do.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE LEFT ALONE. That is the true meaning of freedom. not the socialist state that this country has become.

I present you with this question. Why do you have to pay into that system? And if you didn't have to under the threat of prison, Would you? If you die tomorrow would your heirs get any of that money? Would your wife be able to bury you with the $500 death benefit?

UH, president and vice president don't make legislation, congress does. Palin, even if McCain dies, could not overturn roe v wade. Civic 101.

KYA does not like McCain either. So there.

You cannot talk to "These People" they refuse to grasp the concept of Checks and Balances. Everything is Bush's fault. Even the fact Clinton traded nuclear trade secrets to North Korea is somehow Bush's fault.

Edit - I could also give a rats ass about McCain, but I will never vote for someone so anti-gun laws as Obama. I am an IT person for a Gun Dealer & Outdoor Sports Store.

Overturning legislation simply requires the Supreme Court to deem said legislation unconstitutional. The next president will most likely be able to appoint a few Justices, and if the McCain/Palin ticket wins, they could feasibly get enough votes to overturn Row vs Wade.

You're right, Palin could not singlehandedly overturn, but she could go a long way towards that goal.

You only need six members to have a quorum. Cut off the two oldest members and you have a conservative majority.

And you are laboring under the assumption that all conservatives want to ban abortion rights.
