Then maybe it should be. I wonder what would happen if the majority rule idea was actually implemented?

Should people do it? No. Don't want a baby? Don't have sex. Use protection. etc... Accept responsibility for your actions.
Now, are there medical reasons for an abortion? yes. If the mother's life is in danger (ex. atopic pregnancy) or in the case of rape or incest.
However it all boils down to this. Whether or not it is legal, people will still have abortions. It would be better to have clean, safe clinics for this rather then back alleys like in the 60's. Having that said, the government really has no business deciding this issue. It's not their fight. They have other things they should be worried about.

I'm curious KYA, you have stated that you don't really like McCain and am basically choosing him as the lesser of the two evils. What exactly do you not like about him?

I don't like his choice of running mate. Although she is somewhat likable as a person, she is about as experienced as Obama and has a tendency to say dumb things. [Couric interview]
I also don't like his recent pandering to certain demographics. I appreciate someone who sticks to their guns and doesn't change their talking points every 5 minutes to suit whoever they're addressing. He's done that a bit in the last few weeks and its disappointing.

Here's my stance on abortion, if a man doesn't agree with abortion he shouldn't have one

If you had a loved one killed because of extremely liberal gun control laws you'd understand my position, but since you haven't ,,!,, for telling me how I should feel about this topic
@KYA: Duh ya dolt, that's my point. No man should have the right to tell a woman what she can or cant do with her body

I would not vote if Romney or Edwards were the candidate
Repeat after me THORIAN DOES NOT LIKE MCCAIN, AND COULD GIVE A RAT'S ASS ABOUT PALIN
The shades of grey that make up my political thinking is this
I am for the private ownership of guns, All of em if I want to buy a M2 BMG and mount it to the roof of my truck that is my business as long as I don't harm anyone else.
I am all for the freedom to say that Obama is a commie just as I am all for your right to say that I am a nut job.
I am not for forcing anyone to have abortions or to not be able to have them accessible. I personally wouldn't want my significant other to abort my child but I wouldn't want to force her into something that she really didn't want. I would then exercise my freedom to not be with that person anymore.
I have the right to practice my non christian religion, Islamic's have the right to practice theirs as long as we don't infringe on other people.
I feel that I should be able to support my family with out any intervention of the government, However since they take 33% of my pay for their social programs they are the ones providing my disabled son's health care, If I had that 33% of my salary I could pay for his health care my self.
Everyone has the right to fail, From Corporations to Individuals. If you cannot put money back for your retirement then you will be working till you die. I should not be paying money in taxes to a system that would not reimburse my heirs in the event of my death before being able to collect benefits at 65.
If someone wants to sell their body for money that is their own business, as long as it is of their own free will and not under duress. I personally wouldn't
If someone wants to drown out their reality with a narcotic that is their own business as long as they don't hurt anyone else in the process. I personally wouldn't
Basically Ill lay it down like this I wont tell you what to do, so don't tell me what to do. Neither candidate that has a chance of winning believe in what I do.
I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE LEFT ALONE. That is the true meaning of freedom. not the socialist state that this country has become.

I present you with this question. Why do you have to pay into that system? And if you didn't have to under the threat of prison, Would you? If you die tomorrow would your heirs get any of that money? Would your wife be able to bury you with the $500 death benefit?

Keep the guns away from responsible people, and allow them to be obtained illegally - yeah fuck liberals.
As for smoking, deal with it - it was a liberal law reap what you sew already or quit.
Yeah I did it after 10 years of pack a day smoking quit cold turkey.
Just out of curiosity what has a liberal ever done for you?

Look at what the current administration has done to this country, and you will see what an ultra conservative has done for us. Do we really want 4 more years of failed policy, failed foreign policy, failed economy (yes Bush and his administration, including McCain (who voted for it as well) were the ones who decided it was good to deregulate the financial market

Clinton raised taxes. anyways the question was -
What has a LIBERAL done for you? I don't care about your problems with the Bush administration, I am curious as to what the LIBERAL Congress has done for you, the Liberal Clinton Administration.
Quote
The Liberals are the ones constantly trying to rewrite our constitution. So I have to disagree here.
Your whole post was your everyday spiel on why you hate bush. The democratic congress has a lower approval rating than Bush till this day!!!!
Just answer the question, I don't care to argue politics - I just want to know what the LIBERALS have done for YOU. Simple question.
Please name the last time a LIBERAL lowered your taxes as well.

Amen to that!
The Clinton Tax Hike
Quote
* An increase in the individual income tax rate to 36 percent and a 10 percent surcharge for the highest earners, thereby effectively creating a top rate of 39.6 percent.
* Repeal of the income cap on Medicare taxes. This provision made the 2.9 percent Medicare payroll tax apply to all wage income. Like the Social Security payroll tax base today, the Medicare tax base was capped at a certain level of wage income prior to 1993.
* A 4.3 cent per gallon increase in transportation fuel taxes.
* An increase in the taxable portion of Social Security benefits.
* A permanent extension of the phase-out of personal exemptions and the phase-down of the deduction for itemized expenses.
* Raising the corporate income tax rate to 35 percent.
Quote
In 1997, the Republican-led Congress passed a tax-relief and deficit-reduction bill that was resisted but ultimately signed by President Clinton. The 2007 bill:
* Lowered the top capital gains tax rate from 28 percent to 20 percent;
* Created a new $500 child tax credit;
* Established the new Hope and Lifetime Learning tax credits to reduce the after-tax costs of higher education;
* Extended the air transportation excise taxes;
* Phased in an increase in the estate tax exemption from $600,000 to $1 million;
* Established Roth IRAs and increased the income limits for deductible IRAs;
* Established education IRAs;
* Conformed AMT depreciation lives to regular tax lives; and
* Phased in a 15 cent-per-pack increase in the cigarette tax.
But this isn't to argue politics, I just want Obama's #1 fan over here to point out what the LIBERALS have done for him.
