What has a Republican ever done for me, other than raise taxes, give us a huge deficit, try to cut healthcare (In my state 40,000 kids almost lost their healthcare because of Republicans), take away rights & freedoms, lie to get us into a war so we can spend 10 billion a month while our economy goes down the tubes.

Look at what the current administration has done to this country, and you will see what an ultra conservative has done for us. Do we really want 4 more years of failed policy, failed foreign policy, failed economy (yes Bush and his administration, including McCain (who voted for it as well) were the ones who decided it was good to deregulate the financial market

Can you be specific on what bills that bush signed to deregulate the financial market?

Because the only thing I can find recently passed to deregulate the banking system was the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 and Clinton did that one. Are you talking about the housing lending system then that was Carters mess up in 1977 with the Community Reinvestment Act.

At least Nader is consistent. Although I dont quite agree with him on his platform I do support the fair tax.

the net capital rule and it's change in 2004 is a big reason for our current problems. to be fair, it wasn't a bill signed by bush, but it was a change voted on and put in place by the members of the SEC that he appointed and went with the general theme of deregulation during the bush administration.
