Does anyone know of a free .Swf decompiler that will produce a .Fla exactly like the one used to make it ?

the odds of getting a decent one for free are slim. Also most Flash 9 and/or AS3 files are not that easy to decompile, but it can be done.
Be careful when decompiling code, often the files have copyrights protecting against such things.
You could probably find a free trial of Sothink's flash decompiler, but that's about the best I know of.

Thanks for the input, I shall take a look a Sothinks product. I dont have to worry about copyright as it is mine, but thanks for the heads up anyway

Flare is the only free one I am aware of...

Thanks for the link, I used have used Flare before, but at least I have my actionscript now
