Mandrake

Is anyone an expert with mandrake-linux 8.1. I could use some help setting up a server. I want to setup folders for everyone that works in my office, and I want to password protect it all. If you're will to help, thanks in advance.

do you want to make it so they can login through telnet or ssh and get their files or so that they can ftp to them?

i just want to map a network drive so that all they have to do is open the drive, find their folder and open it (using a password). users are using win98orXP

well then there you're gonna have to setup samba to start with.
