During the march break alot of people from my group went to see the Broadway production of Chicago in London, England, everyone loved it, so if the movie was even close to the play, then i understand why it won

my m8 and his g/f saw chicago on stage in london too. they said it was brilliant. but they werent very impressed with the film.

are you talking the stage versions of Moulin Rouge & Grease? both were 100 times better then the movies. Moulin Rouge live was is and always will be somethign everybody should see once in their lives.

films made from musicals are usually crappy...so I wouldn't get too surprised.

I mean, try to imagine "Cats: The Musical"...prolly wouldn't be too good.
