This time next year, I'll post pics from my new office building. My company is moving closer to the Inner Harbor (about one block back, and 3 blocks over), and with it being the tallest builing in the area, I'll have a great view of the Inner Harbor on one side, and Oriole Park at Camden Yards on the other.

@absynthe: Since you work at Tech, are you able to buy a meal plan? From what I understand, lobster is half off on the meal plan there. I believe one of the dining halls is devoted to the more upscale food.

Actually I can!! Since the shooting the place is pretty much locked down. To get in the buildings around campus or the Research Center you have a Hokie Passport which allows you access to the Meal Plan. I haven't had the lobster but it's served for sure here.

Why is a college cafeteria serving lobster? VT ain't Vegas. And the lobster isn't 5 bucks either.

@ Christoph I am indeed...its all in the heels :)

@Calvin/No2 I love Ohio!! I fell in love with the Amish Country and honestly if I had met the right Amish girl the weekend I was there I would have "married" and stayed. The Amish guys gave me the creeps though...completely out of the question.

@Vulcan Ya know its weird, I was just having a conversation about some of the top places in the world I would visit. Jerusalem was one of mine. I'm so happy you posted these pictures. Thank you my friend!

@Benign Podunk has Amish!!! Are you Amish???? Hmmmmmm...you might be the right girl I was talking about in the above post! ~bats my eyes lovingly~

@BiggerB I am going to come to Arizona one of the days...I swear it. There's just way too many people on here from there! I just need a cool place to stay and someone to show me around.

@James I've always wanted to visit your crotch...you know that. :whistling:

@Xclite that's a fucking awesome link! I could have went to that game but worked late and then got caught up in the hell that's traffic after that game. It was a nasty night too..had rained the night before and the roads sucked!

@P4 I went to game there (Camden) and loved the stadium! I hated buying alcohol in Maryland the first time there. So confusing. The Inner Harbor is beautiful though.

Maryland has mostly held bad memories for me though. During the most difficult time of my life I traveled to Baltimore probably two or three times a week. Heroin there is unlike any other city I've been to. Sold in Capsules...it was weird.

@KYA it even has a lobster tank.

@Sloth love..if I hadn't made such a stellar 11 month bump I would have not known that Tech serves the only Crustacean I would ever put in my mouth. And when i think of Lobster I think of Lobster Gazpacho.

Tech actually has the best dining facilities in the country in terms of colleges. When I visited, the students raved about the athletics and the food. I don't personally care about sporting events, but I do like to eat well so that was a plus for me.

absynthe, I'm sorry Baltimore has so many bad memories. I'd say come back up, and hang out with me for a day or so to make some new ones (not a sexual comment) to replace the bad ones. You're right, the Inner Harbor, and Camden Yards, is wonderful. As for the ordering of the beer, you ALWAYS have to try the local brews like Boh, Backfin, Dogfish Head, and a few others. Backfin is GREAT with local steamed crabs since it's brewed with Old Bay in it.

As stated, VIP's only. Club rules. The bouncer is a right bastard unswayed by bribery.
