Well, although I'm very new here, I have a suggestion:
When browsing the C/C++ Programming Help sub-forum, something occurred to me that really could need some improvement: distinguishing C and C++.
Just like users can flag their posts "Beginner," "Intermediate," or "Advanced," it should be possible to flag the LANGUAGE of the post, since some people are grandmasters of C but only know about C++ theoretically (I wonder why not, since C++ is completely different in making programming tasks happen)
Flagging would make users see the kind of language even in thread view, when they haven't read any of the sub-forum posts.
What do you think?
C/C++ flags with posts?(just like the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced ones)

Interesting idea, but not too sure it is really needed. People who usually visit the C/C++ forum know it is going to be one or the other and you can typically tell just by looking at the code. Not to mention C will work in C++ so they can be BOTH in one program.
And the C/C++ forum is the only forum this really applies except maybe VB.NET and VB 6... but we have separate forums for that.
I don't know, I might be off base here.

Sounds about right.
Personally, when I go into the C/C++ forum, I can tell which it is. You can look at what's being included, the structure of loops, does it contain objects? etc etc...
Plus, AFAIK all of the C experts are conversant with C++ too~ In other words, it doesn't matter what language it is, we can just tell.

Plus its helpful to know possible solutions for both language "viewpoints".
