I really don't see what the big deal is, Obama ran an excellent campaign, better than McCain's slander attack we've seen for 4 months now. The American people spoke, in record numbers, and said, with resounding pride, that Obama would be the better man in the White House, that Obama is the change they are looking for.

McCain never gave an inkling of how he would be different than the current Administration, McCain voted with Bush 90 some odd percent of the time, on his failed policies, and the American people are tired of the failed policies.

I actually earned some respect for McCain tonight, I feel he gave a gracious and heart felt concession speech, the way he urged his supporters to support the new President. He gave a great speech, said some great things, and was more gracious in defeat than I've seen in a long time, and for that I have no choice but to tip my hat to him, he was a true gentleman, there's no doubt about that

if McCain didn't have the most negative campaign I've seen in my short time giving a fuck, you would have to respect the man.

If he didn't play the torture story card non-stop (I actually think thats the medias fault) and you heard that story anywhere else he would be all that is man.

about the third part of yours, his speech was fine, i felt his supporters didn't do themselves a good job though. don't boo the new president, come now, if anyone had a right to boo it would be the other way around.

Don't get me wrong - Obama says he is christian, then muslem, is against, now for off shore drilling, he will not tax 95% of small business even thow by his standards 95% of all small business is qualified under his plan- First it was 300,000 dollars, then 250,000, then it was 200,000, and Biden quoted 150,000. Either way, it won't work. -

Actually it was $200,000 all long. Actually 95% of small businesses do not make more than $200,000 a year. Biden never said it was $150,000. I would really like to know where you're getting your information from, truly I would. Also, Obama never said he was a Muslim, ever. He has said all along that he is, and always will be a Christian. His father was a Muslim, but if you do your research you will find out that he has seen his father for 31 days in his life.

Now seriously, I'm not trying to start a debate, but let's face facts.-
Is he better than McCain - maybe, ok, probably. Is he qualified to sit in the big chair? No.

Yes he is the better man, yes he is the better candidate, yes he is the change this country needs. As I stated before we have just endured 8 years of failed policies, lies, deceit and corruption, it's time for a change and McCain isn't that change.

I fear we have awaken the anti christ- As the bible said, he will rise to power quickly, and fool the masses. - 4 years ago, he was an unknown. He lies blatenly. He was elected for the wrong reasons.

The anti-christ?!?! Get real man, he's no different than you or I, he just has better visions and ideas for this country than you and I. Ideas to get us out of this situation we are in. McCain (as I stated before) would be no different than the last 8 years, and to be honest that would be hard to stomach. Is McCain a bad person, no I don't think so. Do I believe he would be any different than Bush, no I don't. Do we need a serious change in Washington, yes we do.

So far the only thing Obama has changed is his mind on all the issues.

Actually McCain changed his stance on more issues than Obama ever did, that's just a fact

I really, truly hope Obama is a good President because God knows we could use one for a change.

But there is something about the man that seriously scares the crap out of me. Can't quite put my finger on it.

If the entire country switched to electronic voting, would Amish people vote?

first off, they are amish, who cares what they think!

If anyone is scared of an Obama presidency, Hey canada or mexico are still accepting residents. Sound familiar A-holes? I can't count the number of times i heard that from McCain supporters. If you don't like our new president, get used to how many of us have felt since the election was stolen in 2000 and 2004.

It's simple, the House of Lords is where the Jedi and Sith Lords battle it out for supremacy over Britain.
The house of commons is where we keep common people to stop them milling about on the street.
