It's a show of power thing. For years women have lived under the thumb of men and in many places around the planet they still do. But where it is allowed to dress to "impress" we do. I like it though, and dont know that I ever have gotten angry with guys for looking. The trick is not being to blatent about it but still letting us know you see. Some girls perhaps! I do that alot. If a guy is looking at me, turns and glances back again I immediately get self concious. I have huge issues with self esteem though. But the thing is you can see it. I did that on more than one occassion with my ex and he said that he knew I felt that way. He said he could see that I looked sad for a second or two, or worried. But the thing with that is that when it happens and the guy who you think was looking at a flaw tells you you are beautiful then it is heavenly. Good line to fix anything. It is from a movie I found out but it still works every single time:

"God was showing off when he made you"

Has to be at the right time and the right setting. Dont just blurt that shit out. Gotta have the foreplay first

Hmmm...many questions, which I will attempt to answer.

1. She is about 17 months now...that pic was almost a year ago when she was only 6 months old.
2. As for being a good father, all I can do is try. She is my first, i know nothing about being a parent, and never thought I would have kids. I approach parenthood like recovering from alcoholism...one day at a time.
3. I do have a tendency to be mean and asshole like in certain contexts. I can't say why I'm that way, I can only tell you I choose to be that way in those contexts...direct is sometimes the only manner in which a point can be made.
4. I wish to be clear...I am not trying to make sport of those that are having trouble with the opposite gender, nor make sport of you for trying to help them. I was trying to illustrate (what I consider) the folly of this approach. the questions asked here address symptoms, not the root. the answers offered here are the views of one individual, and people may take those answers as being applicable to ALL individuals. There is only one question, and one answer...before you can achieve success with the ladies, or kids, or a job, or your driving test, or cooking school, or a patent application, or putting mustard on a hotdog, you must believe in yourself.
5. I am a dime a dozen...everybody is. Everyone likes to believe they are different, unique, and stand out amongst the Earth's population. While there is a uniqueness to each individual, you can rest assured that as a whole we are governed by similar stimuli and have reactions that can be categorized. So while i think I am unique, there are about a million people exactly like me (not counting any clones I've designed and released into the general population).

That is the saddest way of thinking I have ever heard! There are so many things wrong about that statement! Don't believe that way!! Just being a dad and caring or making the attempt is something special! Millions of so called "dads" have no clue how to be a father and really could care less. You seem really smart and it's amazing that you think that way!! No logic whatsoever in any of that!

*edit* and from the sounds of it you have an addiction which you seem to have in remission. I too have been to rehab on a couple of occassions and have turned things around. How special does that make us? How many dont?
