If I have to RTFM, that's basically the definition of software fail. Software should be functional in its own right, without the need for "training."

Some kind of training is necessary to do just about anything, so I don't think I really see your point.

I tried Ubuntu, not really my cup of tea. I guess it could be used to soften the impact of switching to Linux but its definitely not for everybody.
